Our position as a trustworthy leader in exterior restoration and general contracting is the product of the team’s collective effort for over four decades. Today, C/Sharpe brings value to owners and consultants by providing cutting-edge solutions in complex building restoration.
Our History
Named after his wife Carolyn, William Sharpe founded the family painting business, C/Sharpe, in 1983. His son David joined the company in 1986 at age 17, rising to President by 1993. David’s experience from an early age allowed him to gain deep technical knowledge while serving client needs of increasing scale and complexity.
As the harsh Gulf Coast environment took its toll on the area’s aging buildings through the 1990s, David led us from painting to heavier exterior restoration work. This development of expertise and increased team depth allowed us to grow into the 2000s by providing complete building envelope services, including storm restoration services through multiple storms.
Joining the team in 2010 from Brasfield & Gorrie, Russell Buster currently serves as President. With his leadership, we continue to grow sustainably through diversified work types and geography. Russell and David lead the company to find new ways to improve the condition of buildings while making a lasting impact on the communities they serve.
