How Our Warranty Process Works

Step 1: Submit the Warranty Request

 

Fill out the form with as much detail as possible. Please include photos, a clear description of the issue, and the location of the affected area. This helps our team quickly assess and route your request to the appropriate contact.


Step 2: Confirmation Email Sent

 

After submitting your request, you will receive an email confirming that we’ve received your submission. This ensures your request has been logged and is now in our system for review.


Step 3: Assigned & Reviewed

 

Within 2 business days, a member of our warranty team will be assigned to your request. You’ll receive a follow-up email with their contact information and any initial next steps or questions related to your issue.

What Is Covered Under Warranty

Your closeout packet includes documentation explaining what’s covered. In general, there are 3 warranty types:

 

Manufacturer Warranty:

Covers material defects or failure of the product itself.

 

Product Warranty:

Issued by the manufacturer of specific building components.

 

C/Sharpe Workmanship Warranty:

Covers issues related to how the work was performed.

 

If you’re not sure which warranty applies, submit your request and we’ll help determine coverage.

Warranty FAQs

Below are answers to some of the most common questions we receive regarding warranty coverage. If you need additional clarification, we encourage you to submit the warranty request form so our team can review your specific situation in detail.

How long will it take to hear back after I submit the warranty request?

You’ll receive a confirmation email right after submitting the form. Within 2 business days, a member of our warranty team will be assigned to your request and will follow up with next steps or additional questions if needed.

How long is my warranty valid?

Every C/Sharpe project comes with warranty documentation provided at closeout. This outlines which parts of the project are covered by our workmanship warranty, and which fall under a manufacturer or product warranty. If you’re unsure whether you’re still within the warranty period, go ahead and submit the request. Our team will review the details and let you know.

What if my issue isn’t covered under warranty?

If the issue falls outside of warranty coverage, we’ll clearly explain why. When possible, we’ll also provide guidance on recommended next steps or repair options so you’re not left without a solution.

Can I call instead of filling out the form?

Submitting the form is the fastest way to ensure your request is documented and routed to the right person.
